Experience the seasonal frigid grip of Canadian’s interior with islands of pristine ice to frozen surfaces altered through sport. Curated by Abbozzo Gallery.

The FCP Gallery exhibition, Winter; Under The Sun propels viewers from the Antarctic and Labrador to the seasonal frigid grip of the Canadian interior. The exhibition is a prelude to the First Canadian Place Main Lobby Exhibition, Under The Sun which opens March 19th. The Winter Sun grasps the seasonal conversion through a group show of artists from Abbozzo Gallery, including David Blackwood, Arnold Zageris and Jennifer Walton.

The iconic master of Labrador lore, David Blackwood, often builds narrative through the severity of Newfoundland’s climate to preserve the traditions and legends of the Maritime eastern shores. Through multiple trips to the Antarctic, Arnold Zageris’s camera captures the majesty of the polar world while Jennifer Walton’s exquisite brushwork embraces the climate of the transformed environment and our adaptation through sport.

The inviting, open-concept FCP Gallery welcomes visitors Mon to Fri, 11 AM – 3 PM. Hours are subject to change for private events.
