Tap into the LA art scene while at work as we turn the valet parking lobbies on P1 into a rotating art gallery, presenting a new exhibition of artworks available for purchase every 6 months!
Wouldn’t it be fun to walk through an art gallery every day on your way to work? Well, now you can! Arts Brookfield is turning the valet parking areas on P1 into a rotating art gallery, featuring a new installation every 6 months. Each installation will showcase the work of an LA-based artist or gallery and all of the works on view will be for sale.
Look for the exhibition checklist that will be on the lobby coffee tables. See something you like? Email the listed contact and make the purchase! Not interested in buying? No problem! Enjoy the art as you come and go, meet up with your colleagues and flex your art critic muscles at the tenant reception, and savor the slice of LA culture that Arts Brookfield has brought to you.
Entirely self-taught, Jason REVOK is known for pushing creative boundaries. Murals and assemblages of urban decay have evolved as the artist has moved from alley to studio, constantly developing his signature refined-yet-gritty aesthetic. He relies on self-made tools for a number of painting processes, seeking out a synergy between systems of lines and imperfect patterns. His bold, balanced, geometric works reference 60s minimalism that has been heightened by the personal and imperfect sleight of the human hand.
REVOK has exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles as well as the Pasadena Museum of Contemporary Art. His work has been exhibited internationally in the United States, Europe and the Middle East and is in a number of important private collections worldwide. He is currently based in Los Angeles.
