Under The Sun is derived from the idiom “everything under the sun” and refers to everything that “is possible” or everything one can possibly imagine. Artists in this group exhibition directly or indirectly reference the sun, which we have historically depended on to nurture our cultural forces, our creative impulses and the capacity to sustain life overall.

This exhibition features the work of 16 artists working across multiple mediums: Siwa Mgoboza (self portraiture), Clara Bacou (animation), Dan Hudson (photography), Matthew Borrett (digital media), Camille Jodoin-Eng (installation), Joanna Strong (fine art), Thomas Brasch (sculpture), Cara Barer (photography), Cybele Young (sculpture), Jennifer Walton (fine art), Adam Colangelo (sculpture), Jade Rude (sculpture), Steven Nederveen and Sarah Phelps (fine art), and David Salazar (sculpture).
