In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Arts Brookfield has commissioned an original work of art by artist Amy Kao for the 230 Vesey Shops at Brookfield Place New York. Radiance explores the traditional Chinese craft of paper cut-outs to create a landscape of imagination, where viewers are invited to traverse through a succession of swelling contours and recessions. Each of the densely elaborate columns depicts a distinct landscape of foliage motifs, together with iconic roosters in celebration of this year’s zodiac animal.
