all the drama, half the tragedy
New York Classical Theatre will bring King Lear’s potent tale of family and politics in a dynamic, two-hour AND two-version interpretation this summer on MetroTech Commons in Downtown Brooklyn. Every other performance, we alternate between William Shakespeare’s tragic ending and Nahum Tate’s 1681 “Hollywood” ending in which Lear lives!
