Genres include R&B, hip-hop, new jazz, Latin and indie, appealing to the eclectic palette and diverse backgrounds of LA music fans. Grab lunch, sit back, and enjoy the show!

Jason Joseph (JJ) gets around. Born in America’s heartland to the son of Indian immigrants, he spent his childhood in Des Moines, Iowa with summers in Kerala, India before growing up in Florida and graduating from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Drawing from the multitude of cultures that inform his identity, JJ moved to Los Angeles to expand his SuperSoul signature sound. The unique voices of Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Donny Hathaway seasoned with the Indian tabla and dhol, all melded into a stylistic gumbo defines his sound as a writer, singer, producer & music director.

Nine years ago, JJ released his first album called Out Of My Mind :: Side A, and began a weekly live residency called @SuperSoulMonday. The night is still going strong and has grown from three musicians playing for less than a dozen customers at a dive bar, to become a Los Angeles institution, routinely drawing A-listers like Drake, Dr. Dre, Sheryl Crow, Queen Latifah and John Mayer. JJ is releasing a brand new album in 2018.

Anthony Valadez is a Los Angeles radio personality with dj residencies around the city, including First Fridays at The Natural History Museum. He hosted Cratediggers on FUSEtv for 3 seasons.
