Radio Jarocho plays
son jarocho music inspired by the towns, musicians, and swampy countryside of Veracruz, Mexico. Tonight, they will lure audiences into a Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) fandango – a popular folkloric celebration in Mexico with music, dance, and costumes. The fandango will include a traditional dance lesson, followed by a rousing dance party featuring the band and other
jarocho musicians from around New York, with visuals by Cinema Tropical.
