This year’s Screamin’ Green Halloween is moving outdoors! Play old favorites like “Bobbin’ for Apples” and “Toss a Spider in the Brew,” plus new games like “Pin a Face on the Pumpkin” and the “Gourd Roll!” Hear spooky tales in the story tent, join wandering puppets and marching bands, and create communal, earth-friendly art projects in the Halloween Village out on the waterfront Plaza. Have family photos taken in front of the green screen in the Winter Garden – you never know what Halloween character will be looking over your shoulder! As always, enjoy organic and fair-trade sweets, and don’t forget to bring last year’s costume to exchange for a new one at the Costume Swap. The day culminates in a Ghosts and Goblins Parade throughout Battery Park City, starting at 3pm.
