Bring your laptop to Winter Garden on June 6th to join exclusive gaming sessions of two inspirational games that are nominated for “Best Gameplay” at the 2012 Games for Change Awards. These live demonstrations of
The End and WAY will include discussions with their award-winning designers and the opportunity for you to play the games yourself, ask questions of the designers, and learn more about the movement to create digital entertainment that focuses on social justice.
Commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK and created for teenagers,
The End is a game of self-discovery that integrates strategy, puzzles and questions into a world which explores views about death.
WAY is one of the most highly recognized independent game titles, in which two anonymous players communicate through gestures to solve puzzles.
At 12:00pm, the Big TV will host a Skype discussion with Phil Stuart, Creative Director of Preloaded, the London-based studio that designed
The End. At 7:30pm, Chris Bell, the Los Angeles-based designer of
WAY, will join the conversation.
