Arts Brookfield and artist Carlos Rolón will put a spotlight on the worldwide trend of bicycle riding as a serious and sustainable means of transportation that is re-shaping cities. When We Were Young will explore the exquisite mix of engineering and craftsmanship, ranging from cutting-edge designs to populist expressions, that moves us forward on calibrated wheels.

The exhibition features four bikes: Boricua Sound SystemThe Majestics (For Louise) which was initially created for La Fabrique Sonore, Expérience Pommery #9, and two new bikes commissioned by Arts Brookfield, SUNNY & LEE.

 

Pop-up Dance Party with Fania Records
Saturday, May 19: 10pm – 1am
Known as “the Motown of salsa,” legendary Latin label Fania invites you to join us for a pop-up dance party celebrating When We Were Young at Brookfield Place! Featuring DJ Bembona and Mickey Perez.
