Haiku is a Japanese poem in a 17 syllable verse form, written in three phrasing lines consisting of 5, 7 and then 5 syllables. This distinctive poetry uses language sparingly, contemplatively, and elegantly to convey a sense of nature, a revelation of spirit, or a reference to a moment in everyday life. Artworks in this exhibit are contemporary and innovative, yet they exert the power of haiku in the simplicity of structure.

HAIKU in 3D is part of the HAIKU exhibition, which includes HAIKU: Poetry in Art.
